Measurements
Each Project has a “Measurements” tab. Use Measurements to record information about rooms and structural elements and quickly create accurate estimates.
Select a Project from the left menu and open the Measurements tab
Add a new measurement
For a rectangular room, enter its dimensions and add information about openings
For a rectangular room, enter its dimensions and add information about openings
For an irregularly shaped room, switch to Manual input and enter its measurements
When measuring a structural element, such as a foundation, you can add other measurements as needed, including concrete volume, reinforcement weight, and more
Add comments to the measurement to help prepare the estimate
Attach photos or sketches
How to Use Measurements?
- Select the required Project from the left menu and open the “Measurements” tab(1);
- Add a new room measurement (2);
- For a rectangular room, enter its dimensions (3) and add information about openings (4). Smetter will calculate the room parameters automatically;
- For an irregularly shaped room, switch to “Manual input” (5) and enter the room measurements;
- When measuring a structural element, such as a foundation, you can add other measurements as needed, including concrete volume, reinforcement weight, and more. Use the “Additional” option (6);
- You can add comments to a measurement to help prepare the estimate (7);
- You can attach photos or sketches (8);
Measurements in the Mobile App
The mobile app makes it easy to record measurements directly on site. The module offers the same features as the web version.
Result: measurements can be recorded directly on site using the mobile app. Room and structural measurements can then be used to prepare estimates quickly and accurately.
